Case study
The brief
Maris Gina is a sugaring and skin care salon with six locations across Japan, and the country’s distributor of Alexandria Professional. They wanted a website that feels like a visit to the salon: calm, warm and personal, while still explaining four different treatments clearly.
What I did
Designed the whole site in Figma, from the colour palette and typography to every page and breakpoint.
Built it in Webflow: home, about, four service pages for sugaring, waxing, laser and aftercare, price list, FAQ, contact and a blog.
A sticky services section on the homepage, where the titles change while the treatment photos scroll past.
A blog in Webflow CMS, so new articles can be added without touching the design.
Layouts tuned for desktop, tablet and phone.
The result
A quiet, image-led website with soft lilac tones and large serif headlines, built around the experience the salon sells rather than a list of treatments. It later received an Awwwards Honorable Mention and a WDA Favourite, which was a nice surprise for a project made simply to fit the salon well.
Ready to build a website that looks amazing and performs even better? Let’s get to work.
